As we count down to our Builders Day Celebration on April 26, we are honored to present our final awardee, the Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) – Chicago Chapter, recipient of the Accompaniment Award. IVC Chicago connects experienced adults aged 50+ with meaningful volunteer opportunities rooted in service, reflection, and social justice. Through strong partnerships with local nonprofits, IVC members walk alongside communities facing poverty, homelessness, isolation, or systemic injustice. We are especially grateful to have two IVC members who volunteer with Taller de José twice a week, offering consistent presence, care, and support to TDJ. We’re honored to celebrate IVC Chicago for embodying the true spirit of accompaniment. #BuildersDay
