One week ago, the Walk for Peace came to Raleigh, drawing a crowd of thousands to the North Carolina State Capitol to see the monks who are walking from Texas to Washington, D.C. in the name of peace. The monks spoke to a crowd at the Capitol, but many citizens gathered simply in hopes of catching a glimpse of the monks as they embarked on the next leg of their journey.
