House update! All of the windows in my cheap Victorian house have been replaced with white vinyl ones. Though I am happy that they keep the cold out, I just couldn’t bear to look at them anymore! So I painted them using liquid wood paint called retiqueliquidwood and this stuff has been a god send! Every quote that I got for custom wood windows of this size was over $2K per window and I have a lot of windows so that was out of the question. Luckily I have set decoration experience and know that anything can be made to look like something else. Why not make vinyl look like wood right?
