St. Andrew’s students across all divisions honored the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this January through meaningful acts of service across Austin. From cleaning up city green spaces to assembling care packages for our unhoused neighbors, Highlanders showed up in the true spirit of MLK Day On — serving with purpose and compassion. Volunteer highlights included: ▪️ Stocking food pantries, participating in food drives, and assembling manna and care packages for Caritas, Sunrise and other local nonprofits ▪️ Basket-stuffing for new residents at Foundation Communities ▪️ Park cleanups at Mount Bonnell, Buttermilk Creek and more ▪️ Supporting MLK celebrations at Huston–Tillotson University #MLKDayOn #WeAreServants
