On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: Acorn Cookies!! The mother of all Christmas cookies in my house growing up was the Acorn Cookie. Making them is a production: The almondy dough is made the night before and chilled until it’s nice and firm. Then they’re rolled into their iconic acorn shape and baked, and when they’re nice and cool they’re dipped in chocolate. You just can’t beat the unique flavor, color, and shape. Does anyone know the origin of these cookies?
