Shows under the stars are back. St. Pete’s americanstage begins performances this Wednesday of its wildly popular annual series of shows in the park at Demens Landing. This year, American Stage is producing Ragtime – the Musical in the Park with a nine-piece live band and 23 actors, 16 of which are local. Ragtime takes the stages April 12-May 14, with shows Wednesday-Sunday every week starting at 7:30 pm. The annual show in the park is the city’s most widely-attended theatrical experience every year, and with a bigger cast and production than ever, this year’s edition is primed for a repeat of that performance. Tickets for individual shows are available now, with options for general admission seating, premium areas, or reserved chairs. GA ticketholders are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to help enjoy the show under the stars.
