Hundreds of people across various US cities have taken to the streets to protest US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and US President Donald Trump’s policies and enforcement of ICE. Many are demanding accountability and calling for the agency to be defunded or abolished. ⁣ ⁣ As part of a national immigration crackdown, President Donald Trump has deployed 3,000 federal officers to the Minneapolis area which is five times the size of the Minneapolis Police Department who are currently patrolling the streets in tactical gear.⁣ ⁣ The fatal shootings by federal agents of citizens Alex Pretti on Saturday, 24 January and Renee Good on January 7 in Minneapolis during the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation have stoked public outrage and fueled calls for more protests.⁣ ⁣ Protests were seen in Minneapolis, Washington D.C., New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dilley amongst others. ⁣ ⁣ #usa #trump #antitrump #ICE #antitrump
