Breaking news! The PNC Festival of Lights is still one of the best holiday light displays in the country. The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden's holiday lights display was ranked No. 1 by USA TODAY readers for the eighth year in a row. USA TODAY’s 10Best published the results of its 2025 Readers’ Choice poll on Dec. 10. The Cincinnati Zoo’s Festival of Lights ranked No. 1 in the poll's Zoo Lights category. WinterFest at Kings Island also came in second place in the Best Theme Park Holiday Event category. Those visiting the 43rd annual PNC Festival of Lights can expect an even bigger and brighter display, with approximately 5 million LED lights.
