Three years ago, the Bennett family's world changed when doctors at Cincinnati Children’s diagnosed two of their young songs with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy – a rare, progressive disorder that weakens muscles over time. Everyday life takes planning and patience. Between medications, mobility equipment and accessibility challenges, outings can be complicated. But the Bennetts focus on what’s possible, not what’s lost. That outlook led them to The Enquirer and United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Wish List. Encouraged by their pastor and nominating agency Lincoln Heights Outreach Inc., the Bennetts wished for two airline-compliant electric travel wheelchairs for Aaron and Owen – tools that would allow the boys to travel safely and comfortably to medical visits, family gatherings and new experiences. If you’d like to make a donation, you can do so at the link in our bio or on United Way’s website. (📸: houstonraef / United Way of Greater Cincinnati) #cincinnati #unitedway #wishlist
