This Shabbat, we want to recognize our faculty, staff, administrators, PTO, and community members for showing up in a big way at today’s mobile blood drive right here in our parking lot, benefiting patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado. When we say tikkun olam, or repair the world, this is what it looks like in action. Giving blood encompasses our Divrei Chaim at DJDS. It is an act of chesed (kindness), rooted in yosher (integrity) and carried out with clear tachlit (purpose). It reflects the strength of our kehillah (community) and the thoughtful intention behind how we show up for others. Even sakranut (curiosity) plays a role—learning how small actions can make a real difference. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, helped organize, or simply made the time to participate. This is what it looks like when the values we teach at DJDS are lived. Shabbat Shalom. #ShabbatShoutOut #TikkunOlam #RepairingTheWorld #DivreiChaim #Kindness #Integrity #Curiosity #Community #Pu...
