Denver is no longer mailing all homeowners their property tax bills.
Instead, residents began receiving postcards in the mail this week, directing them to check their tax statements online at
Denvergov.org/property.
The move to the online system, which began last year, will save the city about $100,000 annually in mailing costs, said Laura Swartz, a spokeswoman for the city’s Department of Finance, as well as prevent the use of nearly 500,000 pieces of paper.
