The wet dress rehearsal for the Artemis II mission around the Moon is underway. The prelaunch test began at 8:13 p.m. EST on Jan. 31. Teams monitored all systems throughout the overnight hours during cold temperatures and high winds at NASAKennedy. Early this morning, teams powered up the rocket’s core stage, which tomorrow will be loaded with more than 700,000 gallons of fuel during the tanking phase of the countdown. Wet dress rehearsal is expected to last until approximately 1 a.m. Feb. 3. The results from this test will help inform teams about a possible launch date.
