Chicago Squares Week 15: chicagobears 🐻 vs clevelandbrowns 🟠🟤 Powered by agoramarketchicago 🛒 The Bears are at home today to face the Browns and this week's pizza is inspired by the Pierogi, paying homage to Cleveland's large Polish population. Fun Fact, Cleveland is home to the first documented Pierogi sale at the Marton House Tavern in 1928. The pizza starts out with a base of mashed potatoes and is topped with caramelized onions, shredded mozzarella, and bacon lardons. After braving the single digit temps and a quick bake in my gozney Arc XL, the pizza is finished with dollops of sour cream, fresh chives, more onions, and an actual pierogi for a garnish. This pizza screams Bear Weather. It's super comforting. Carbs on carbs with some saltyness from the bacon and sweetness from the onions. Damn, it's good! Hopefully the Bears can bounce back with a win today over shedeursanders , flash_garrett and the Browns but no matter if they win or lose, atleast the pizza was good 🤷...
