Trying to golf with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy has it's fair share of challenges but I've found a swing that's comfortable and allows me to keep myself out on the course. Well, unfortunately while at the range yesterday, my biggest fear happened and my legs gave out while taking a swing. In those moments, so many emotions hit me. Frustration, embarrassment, and anger amongst others but I have to block em all out and just get back up. I know this is my reality now but I wanted to share this video that I captured while hoping to just get good footage of my swing as a way to get better as a way to educate, raise some awareness, and maybe inspire you in any part of your lives. I can talk about LGMD and it's effects all the time but seeing it hits different. Share it with someone who might need a boost. Hit em straight folks!
