A new lens, a different technique, or like in this case, changing perspective. A new angle = seeing the game differently. When I went up, I could almost look straight down at times, get that mostly unusual birds‘ eye view. From up there, I could see the geometry of it. The lines, triangles, arrows… It was brilliant. I could also isolate moments, helping me focus on certain details. Personally, I find ice level beautiful, because you can get the emotions. But going up, it helps show the skill without distractions. It all comes down to the “story“ you’re trying to tell. Anyway, it was a fun experience and I can’t wait to experiment more with it.
