Gloria Estefan took home the Grammy for Best Tropical Latin Album last night for her album, Raíces. This is Gloria Estefan's fifth Grammy Award. She earned her first Grammy in 1993 for her album, Mi Tierra when it also won for Best Tropical Latin Album.⁠ ⁠ The legendary artist accepted her award yesterday alongside her husband, producer Emilio Estefan. In their acceptance speech, Emilio said, "The only thing I can tell you is, 50 years ago we were one of the first groups of Latin rhythm to record bilingual. I’m proud that we did both languages.
