As they say: west is best.⁣ ⁣ In December Superintendent Paul Gardiner was appointed as the new Divisional Commander for the Macedon Ranges Shire, Mt Alexander Shire, Loddon Shire, Central Goldfields Shire, City of Greater Bendigo and Campaspe Shire areas.⁣ ⁣ Having lived in the Central Victoria area since 2011, Paul looks forward to supporting our local members work in keeping their communities safe.⁣ ⁣ Throughout his 32 years in policing, he has worked across the state and overseen the organisation’s response to four Royal Commissions, including mental health, aged care, disability and bushfires.⁣ ⁣ More recently, Paul spent four years managing the Public Order Response Team and State Liquor Unit.⁣ ⁣ Outside of work, he enjoys the great outdoors and road-tripping with his family across Victoria and interstate — we hear the Macedon Ranges are a pretty good place to start!⁣ ⁣ Congratulations and all the best Paul!⁣ ⁣ 📍 Dja Dja Wurrung Country⁣ ⁣ #RegionalPolicing #CommunityPolicing
