Whilst my roots are deep in the ancestral soil of my Yoruba heritage, I came to the UK when I was very young. I grew up in East London, raised a family with a wonderful English woman and later in life fell in love with the English countryside. Since childhood I have been fascinated with Greek mythology and these days my style is most strongly influenced by the cuts and fabrics of Japan. My identity is not bound by any one culture. This goes as much for my music as it does for every other expression of my being. Comment “STREAM” and I’ll send you a link to listen to or download my new album ‘How Should I: Part I’ #solaakingbola #yoruba #ifa #africandiaspora
