OU punter Jed Barnett boomed a punt that went out of bounds, but a running into the kicker penalty gave Bob Stoops a choice: take the results of the play (OSU ball at their own 15) or rekick and try to pin them deeper. Stoops chose to rekick. It was the last mistake he’d make that night. Tyreek Hill fielded the second punt at his own 8-yard line, found a seam on the left sideline, and outran the entire state of Oklahoma for a 92-yard touchdown.
