Kimberly Bryant is an electrical engineer who worked in the biotechnology industry at a number of companies, including Genentech and Pfizer. In 2011, she became the founder of Black Girls Code in order to empower women of color to enter the STEM field. The program teaches girls aged 7 to 17 how to develop computer programming skills in both after school and summer programs. Her goal is to teach one million Black girls to code by 2040. #BlackHistoryMonth #TechInnovator
