Dr. Mark Dean is an American engineer and computer scientist who spent his career trying to make computers more powerful and accessible. He has contributed to several revolutionary PC technologies including the development of the color PC monitor as well as the Industry Standard Architecture system bus. In 1997, he was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame and was awarded the Black Engineer of the Year President’s Award.
