Kate Winslet said filming s*x scenes with Saoirse Ronan in 'Ammonite' wasn't at all like 'eating a sandwich'. The film, released in 2020, follows Winslet's character Marty begins a romantic relationshop with Ronan's Charlotte. It is loosely inspired by the life of British palaeontologist Mary Anning. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2020, Winslet said: "Saoirse and I choreographed the scene ourselves. It’s definitely not like eating a sandwich. I just think Saoirse and I, we just felt really safe." She continued: "I felt the proudest I’ve ever felt doing a love scene on Ammonite.
