CLEVELAND, OHIO 💋 Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would one day write my memoir AND it would be my hometown that is one of the kickstart cities. Plain Jayne’s debut in Cleveland, Ohio was nothing less than magical. Received a proclamation from the Mayor of Cleveland, Justin Bibb. The city I grew up in, Wickliffe proclaimed Jayne Kennedy Day! The National Association of Black Journalist granted me a Lifetime Achievement Award in Journalism. And I had the wonderful opportunity to present to my buddy Brent Musburger his plaque inducting him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio! Numerous appearances on TV talk shows and radio. My high school classmates organized a celebration for me at the Music Box Supper Club while we reminisced about growing up and maintaining true friendship throughout our life span.
