K-POP MAKES GRAMMY HISTORY
Golden from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters has become the first K-pop song to win a Grammy Award, taking Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
The win marks a defining moment for the genre. Songwriters and producers EJAE, Teddy Park, 24 and Idio are the first K-pop creatives to be recognised by the Recording Academy in their own right.
More than a soundtrack success, Golden signals a quiet but decisive shift in the global music canon. K-pop is no longer knocking at the door. It has stepped inside.
