I only wish I could spend the whole summer here. Maybe someday! I started coming to Harbor Springs when I was 5 years old (I’m turning 36 next week). I am one of five kids and road trip vacations were the only viable/affordable option, so Lake Michigan it was. We’d cram 8 people into a 7-seater mini van, throw a storage bin on the roof, pack deli sandwiches for the rest stop and head up north. It looks a little different now - we pile into 3 cars instead of one, bring my niece and nephews and my brother flies into the tiny up north Michigan airport from California.
