Monika Thadhani, Design Studies teaching professor, represented the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Human Ecology in Greece at the 15th Annual International Conference on Architecture at the Athens Institute. Thadhani presented a talk titled "Form, Function, Time: Rethinking Architecture and Design in an Age of Uncertainty and Transformation." In her talk, Thadhani proposed to reframe architecture as a living, adaptive system that responds in real time to human and environmental needs. "I was also honored to participate in a roundtable discussion on 'The Future of U.S. and Global Universities' in today’s political climate, alongside colleagues from around the world," Thadhani says. "It was a timely conversation about the evolving role and challenges of higher education."
