Congratulations to Carolee Dodge Francis, the Leola R. Culver Professor in Nonprofits and Philanthropy and the department chair and a professor of Civil Society & Community Studies (CSCS), and Amy Meinen, research and outreach program coordinator for CSCS, for their work with the Great Lakes Intertribal Food Coalition (GLIFC), one of nine winners of this year’s RWJFoundation Culture of Health Prize. The $250,000 award will help the GLIFC continue to support the growth of an intertribal food system and the strengthening of traditional tribal food sovereignty across Wisconsin and the broader Great Lakes region.
