Nine years ago, Mary Alesandrini '18 decided to go back to school to earn a second bachelor’s degree. It was a monumental decision, and she was confident that the Interior Architecture program was the right stepping stone to help her change careers. Today, she is an integral team member at Sprinkman Design Collective in a dual business manager and designer role. Alesandrini specializes in improving operations and loves supporting staff, including School of Human Ecology interns. “It’s truly an honor and a privilege to help shape colleagues’ futures,” Alesandrini says. “To teach what I know from my past lives in various roles, while honing my management style based on mentors who’ve inspired me — it’s fulfilling work.” Read Alesandrini's alumni feature: humanecology.wisc.edu/from-it-to-interior-architecture-mary-alesandrini-18-redesigned-her-career #HumanEcology #InteriorArchitecture #AlumniStory
