Assistant Professor Dr. Thomas shares his personal journey from teacher in St. Lucia to clinical psychologist and researcher at UW-Madison’s School of Human Ecology.
In this talk, Dr. Thomas highlights the challenges to positive youth development and explores the concept of resilience - challenging our conventional thinking about resilience.
He describes how parents can serve as resilience enablers and how fathers are an untapped resource in the enabling of resilience.
