The NFL Head Coaching fraternity is hard to break into with the amount of great coaching candidates, nepotism and back scratching that occurs that makes it tough for former players to break into the profession and climb to positions that are coveted for Head Coaching jobs. Often times owners and front office executives want to hire the people who are the best for the job, but are also the ones they are most comfortable with because they look like them, have the same or similar life experiences so they connect better with them and who they want to go golfing with.
