Our first Anybody Can Surf™ event and almost everyone showed up thinking surfing wasn’t for them. John is 6’8” tall and was ready to try surfing for the first time. We had first timers from Nebraska and Mexico City, who never imagined themselves riding a wave. But they showed up anyway. They laughed, wiped out, leaned back, and then it clicked. No pressure.
