"Underated in the Spotlight" Beyond the Lights is such a underrated movie. That should be talk about more. The movie is a romantic drama film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. It follows Noni Jean, a talented young singer on the verge of superstardom who struggles with the pressures of fame and the expectations placed on her by her ambitious mother. After a public breakdown, she is saved by Kaz Nicol, a police officer with political ambitions. As their relationship deepens, Kaz helps Noni rediscover her true voice and identity beyond the manufactured image created for her by the music industry. I will rate this movie a 9/10.
