Today Mark is sharing the trailer for his short film! 💡🎥 🎬 "I entered an international film contest set up by a local movie theater, I had to come up with a short film responding to the theme of ‘Celebration'. I combined my love of horror films with the ending of Writer/Director, #FedericoFellini’s 1963 film ‘8 ½’. Though I’m not a huge fan of slasher films as a sub-genre, the ‘Final Girl’ is such an identifiable trope that you really don’t need the ninety minute lead up, you can skip to the ending and the audience gets it. Shooting The Green Man took two days and post took about two weeks. I collaborated with a good portion of the Alkemy X team; from audio mix to visual effects, voice acting to the kick-ass tune at the end of the short film.
