1. Hand Placement:
• Client’s right hand is placed on the left shoulder.
• Client’s left hand is placed on the right shoulder.
• Practitioner places hands directly on the elbows.
2. Pumping Technique:
• Through the elbows, lift the client’s arms upward.
• Perform four rhythmic pumps: one, two, three, four.
• Afterward, the client can rest hands and relax.
3. Purpose of the Movement:
• The pumping motion helps direct lymphatic fluid into the axillary cavities (armpit area).
• The motor movement of the arms stimulates natural lymph flow.
• This assists the drainage of fluid from the upper body downward, promoting detoxification and better circulation.
