In this session, we followed the structured sequence of the Helena Pahava Method. We began with superficial lymphatic drainage, opening the terminus and clavicular regions to activate lymph flow and reduce interstitial pressure a crucial step that prepares the tissues for deeper work without stagnation.
Next, we released superficial fascial tension, restoring tissue glide and elasticity to ensure smooth coordination between the skin and underlying muscles.
We then performed buccal (intraoral) massage, addressing the orbicularis oris, buccinator, zygomaticus, and masseter muscles, along with the fascial connections around the TMJ to relieve tension and balance facial symmetry.
Finally, we concluded with capillary work, applying gentle rhythmic stimulation to improve microcirculation, oxygenation, and skin tone.
