Born in Honduras but raised in the Bay Area, he is one of the more than 1.3 million people in the country with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Silva welcome a ruling at an SF court in late December blocking the federal government’s efforts to end TPS for certain countries, but he says his state of limbo is still far from ending.
