[Race Result] spencerpigot - 5th ••• SP brought home his first Top 5 finish of 2019 today with a 5th place result in the #INDYCARGP. Starting 12th, Pigot passed five cars in the first 10 laps and continued his charge forward all day. In the closing stages of the first of the two May races at the indianapolismotorspeedway , Pigot was running 9th. He too chose rain tires at the appropriate time, easily moving himself into contention for his best result of the year. A pass on his teammate with three laps to go gave him the 5th finishing position.
