Let me tell y’all about my weekend. I was invited to perform at southportweekender, a 3 day music festival that has been going on in England since 1987. This was my second time being booked & I must say, it was off the chain! I don’t think y’all understand. I got a chance to see some framily (friends & family) I haven’t seen in years & I also made some new ones. But I really felt at home when I saw my brother richmedina in the house. He came to see me perform while also giving me a few encouraging words that I didn’t know I needed. To my DJ for the night, djneilpierce, THANK YOU for believing in me & having my back on that stage. We created some magic that night. And I must say, the UK knows their music. Side story… House music is my life but Hip Hop raised me! So meeting childrenofzeus_ & then hanging with my new fam, the junglebrothers4life, y’all already know this was the highlight of my weekend.
