Knox senior Myles McLaughlin has officially etched his name into the record books, becoming Indiana’s all-time rushing leader and just the fifth player in high school football history to surpass 11,000 career rushing yards. McLaughlin powered Knox to a 50-35 win over Griffith in the Class 3A sectional semifinals, rushing for 408 yards and six touchdowns to push his career total to 11,004 yards, passing former record-holder Charlie Spegal of New Palestine. Just last week, he broke the Indiana single-season rushing record with 469 yards and seven touchdowns against Jimtown.
