This week’s IHSA Alumni Spotlight is Ms. Ola Bundy. Bundy was involved in various GAA activities as well as chorus, yearbook editor, and vice president of her senior class before graduating from Champaign High School in 1953. Bundy was known as the pioneer of girls’ interscholastic activities in Illinois and throughout the nation. She was inducted into the National High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1996 and passed away in February of 2006 at the age of 70.
