Dr. Risako Shirane is a Clinical Fellow yale_neurology, and is currently enrolled in our Advocacy Training Program ACT-Now. She is originally from Japan, and she has had migraine since childhood. Dr. Shirane decided to pursue Headache Medicine after realizing the immense need for specialized headache care in the community and because of the opportunity to make a real difference in her patients’ lives. She has a deep interest in neurology and headache advocacy and is excited to hone her advocacy skills through our ACT-Now program.
