The NFL’s lack of minority coaches is nepotism than racism, & The Rooney rule comes into play at the wrong time in the journey. It’s about the development of Head Coaches not the hiring. Coaches hire friends, family, & those they’re connected to. The 3 remaining black head coaches all had previous connections to the originations they now lead. Here’s where race does play a part. There aren’t enough owners who can identity the leadership traits in young minority coaches… Makes sense though. Been difficult for minorities to acquire the generational wealth needed to own a team! #NFL #MinorityHires #RooneyRule
