The second-ever Design Dash brought @uwmadison students together to tackle a real-world challenge: increase awareness and understanding of the University Health Services Badger Recovery program. Open to students who identify as either in recovery from substance abuse, disordered eating or addictive behaviors, @badgerrecovery offers support and connection via peer-to-peer meetings, educational events and recovery coaching. Design dashers broke into teams to analyze Badger Recovery's strengths and opportunities, brainstorm actionable solutions and pitch recommendations to @uhsmadison leaders. "The Design Dash was a great experience to be part of a team of designers and strategists with different perspectives to solving a problem," says Sofia More x'26, Community & Organizational Development student.
