The School of Human Ecology is proud to recognize Shiann Her ‘25 (@s.her.03) as the school’s spring 2025 commencement flag bearer. Her is a Personal Finance major from Eau Claire, Wisconsin with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. She is the former president of the Human Ecology Financial Occupations Club for Undergraduate Students (@focus_uwmadison), the vice president of resources & operations for the Wisconsin Union Directorate (@wisconsinunion, @wisconsinuniondirectorate) and a student liaison of the Certified Financial Planner (@cfpboardofstandards) board. During the summer of 2024, Her worked as a financial advisor in training intern at Ameriprise Financial (@ameriprise), where she assessed the financial situations of 45 clients, customized portfolio allocations and conducted in-depth phone consultations to develop tailored financial plans.
