Congratulations to Cindy Platt, winner of our weekly #ESTrong campaign which recognizes folks in the community who do good for others. Cindy owns Grease Rags Clothing Co., a retro-inspired and rockabilly-style clothing boutique in San Marco. Her shop, located just across the street from our San Marco location, suffered significant damage from Hurricane Irma. Despite her shop being closed down, she ran herself ragged (see what we did there) organizing and contributing to fundraisers for San Marco Merchants Association #sanmarcostrong to help her fellow small business owners. She also started a non-profit called Rocstart - Rallying for Oral Cancer Support Through ART to raise awareness of oral cancer and provide support to oral cancer patients throughout their treatment. Cindy is also a survivor of oral cancer. As Meisha Joyce, who nominated Cindy, says, "She is a rock star and deserves recognition." Thank you for everything you do for the community, Cindy!
