🚀From classroom to orbit! Students and professors from the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (upaepoficial) in 🇲🇽Mexico had an unforgettable day today — their CubeSat Gxiba-1 was deployed from the International Space Station! (iss) 🌍🛰️ Here in Vienna, during a STSC side event, we joined the excitement and watched it live — a proud day for Mexico and a reminder of what global cooperation can achieve. 🤝 🛰️ Gxiba-1 was selected under the 6th round of KiboCUBE, a joint programme by UNOOSA and JAXA (jaxajp). It will monitor volcanic activity from space, supporting disaster risk reduction and local research.
