Some rescues end the way we pray they never will. Lennox fought for as long as he could. We’re sorry you suffered for so long sweet boy 😭 💔 After rushing Lennox straight to the vet, he was immediately placed on IV support in hopes his body would respond. The blood work came back devastating, and at that point all we could do was pray… pray that he still had the fight in him. We woke up the next morning to a heartbreaking message from the clinic. Lennox’s heart had stopped. He had stopped fighting. 💔 🥺 What we hold onto is this: in his final moments, he was no longer alone. He felt love. And he was treated with dignity. ❤️‍🩹 🐾 We couldn’t save Lennox, and that pain will stay with us. But his story matters.
