Alameda County Superior Court’s long-standing Pretrial Services Program is getting a revamp. The program’s previous model relied on probation and supervision. The new expansion would provide services focused on housing, employment, mental health and more. The expansion is funded by $3 million from the county and will be administered by the Superior Court of Alameda County, the nonprofit Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency and the Alameda County Probation Department.
