The 2026 PBR Canada Cup Series kicked off in Red Deer this past weekend, and we played to a sold out house. Seeing the growth this tour has had over the past decade has been incredible, and being able to play just a little part in it is something I am incredibly proud of. . . . . . . . . . The production staff on the PBR Canada Cup Series Tour is a very tight knit group. We have our cliques, like any other group of humans, but there is a mutual respect and understanding we have with one another. I think everyone on that tour knows each others names, and their job. We mix about for dinners and drinks, or long hotel room bullshits, and its a big part of what makes us tick. . . . . . . . . In 2026 however, we were down a man. A man who oversees the pyrotechnics on our tour. But as soon as he was unavailable for the lead up to Red Deer, we all learned that he takes on so much and helps out so many departments.
