Zack Persing is the definition of a glue guy—and a whole lot more. The 6’5” forward from Carlyle has been a consistent force for SI Select this spring, doing all the little things that don’t always show up in the box score—but matter just as much. He plays with non-stop energy, knocks down threes with confidence, and slashes to the rim with purpose. On defense, he stays active, makes smart plays, and gives opponents problems with his length and hustle. Persing capped off the spring with a dominant 15-point performance in the championship game of the AthElite Memorial Day Challenge, helping SI Select close out a perfect 23-0 season. He’s aiming for an even bigger July as SI Select gears up for a run at the World Championship.
